THE BIG VISION

One physical place. Four pillars. Possibilities that grow together.

Conceptual render of children and adults in the reception of a future CALLON centre in Lisbon.
Conceptual image of CALLON’s vision for Lisbon — illustrative spaces and architecture; it does not represent an approved location or architectural project.

CALLON has a tangible ambition: to create and animate a multifunctional physical centre in Lisbon, where Culture, Knowledge, Skills and Innovation meet every day.

A place of reference in Lisbon, open to the city, its communities and the world. A place where Calon/Roma culture gains a visible presence and where Roma and non-Roma people can create, learn, research and build together.

CALLON

The value lies in what happens between the pillars.

An exhibition can spark research. Oral memory can become an educational resource. A workshop can open a professional path. An artistic creation can bring communities and new audiences together. This exchange between people, spaces and knowledge gives the centre its purpose.

A home for many ways to take part.

The vision, in words and images.
